As you have probably realized I am here to make your life and pregnancy easier. and if you live in the Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach Counties, it just got even easier.

I've been in your shoes and I have cared for so many moms like you I have lost count. One thing that always stood out to me was that navigating pregnancy can either be confusing or very simple. Its simple for the moms who have an idea of the experience they want including which setting and they see that end goal and nothing else. But for those that find it confusing, they may have an idea but don't know where to begin.

Yes I advocate for home births and birthing center births but I also understand that from when we were young, hospital births were always just what everyone did. It's the norm. What's not so normal is the amount of determination you need to birth your way in these settings.

That's where I come in. The first step is finding a hospital that you feel comfortable with just as if you were looking for a birthing center. Some people think finding your provider is the first step but that is just a piece of the pie. If a hospital birth is what you want, you need to find one that is most comfortable with you because it is during the labor that you will be tested the most both by your body and those in your birth space (staff; Nurses and OB's).

This list comes in two parts: an excel sheet with all the hospitals and a pdf glossary with all the unfamiliar terms perfectly defined for you.

Why you need this:

  • Helps when choosing an OB to see info on the hospital they deliver at
  • Helps to know the setup of the labor floor so you aren't caught by surprise when in labor
  • Aids in your ability to advocate for yourself
  • Helps When Picking a hospital to deliver at
  • Knowing the COVID Visitation Policy beforehand will avoid any disappointments (Will continue to update Periodically)
