I highly recommend you have a birth plan at your delivery, especially in a hospital setting.
A Birth plan is a outline of the preferences you want during your labor and delivery process. For example, your birth plan may include who you want with you during labor, whether you want pain meds, or if you want the lights dimmed, etc. You can include anything you think will make your labor and birth more comfortable for you.
Why You Need This:
- If you are delivering in a hospital setting, your autonomy (ability to make decisions for yourself) can be taken away when you lack holistic education.
- When you know your options you can make decisions for yourself from a place of joy and understanding not fear and coercion.
- Has all your preferences for birth setting staff to readily see.
- Includes full walk through of my pregnancy eBook that goes that through the entire labor process from start to finish including the postpartum period, and referrals.
